Schneider studied Computer Science at Universidad Central de Venezuela. She was one of the faces of Gina Department Store and she has also been the spokesperson for Head & Shoulders in Venezuela. As Miss Monagas 1998, she competed in the 1998 Miss Venezuela pageant and was the first runner-up. Thus, in November of that year, she went to the Seychelles to compete in the 1998 Miss World pageant, where she didn't make it to the semi-finals. In 2002, Schneider turned to television and signed with Venevision. The first role she got was in the telenovela 'Mambo y Canela' where she played the part of Wanda. In 2003, she was cast in the role of Marisela Ruiz Montero in the telenovela 'Enganada'. The telenovela wasn't a big hit and she was criticized for her poor acting skills. In 2004, she went to Peru to play villain Fernanda Velacochea in the telenovela 'Besos Robados', along with Juan Carlos Garcia and teen sensation Stephanie Cayo. In 2005, she signed with RCTV and was offered the role of Erika Hoffman, in "Amantes, la súper producción de época". In April 2006, Schneider and Venezuelan telenovela actor Alejandro Otero went to Cannes in France for the International Interactive Emmy Awards presented at MIPTV. Schneider is playing in the telenovela "Y Los Declaro Marido Y Mujer", produced by RCTV. She is still modelling. She is the face of Grunenthal Venezuela. Veronica has been romantically linked to Numa Delgado (Mr Venezuela 1998's first runner-up). She also dated telenovela actor Alejandro López. She is engaged to top male supermodel Enrique Palacios.
