Biography

Tim Allen began his career as a stand-up comedian. On a dare from one of his friends, he participated in an open-mic night at the Comedy Castle in Detroit. He soon became a regular average act at the city's Comedy Store. He later moved to Los Angeles and became a member of The Comedy Store there.
