Summer Altice was raised in California and was an active participant in athletics while growing up. Summer Altice’s passion for volleyball led her to San Diego State, where she starred for the team as one of their best hitters. Her devotion to academics in addition to her play on the court earned her an Academic All-WAC (Western Athletic Conference) mention in 1998. Summer Altice was born not in the summer, but in the winter of 1979, two days before Christmas. Although Summer Altice has been offered the opportunity to play in the professional volleyball ranks, a credit to her skill and appearance of course, it is the latter that has brought Summer Altice the most recognition. Her natural beauty and classic physique was featured in the August 2000 edition of Play..boy, where Summer was designated Play..mate of the month. Summer Altice has also been featured in YM and Gear and topless in the French edition of Max. While Summer Altice could bask in the glory of being a cover girl sensation, she has taken her career to a higher plane by showcasing her acting skills. Summer Altice had a role in the Showtime series ChromiumBlue.com in 2001 and is set to break out in a big way as Kai in the blockbuster Hollywood prequel The Scorpion King, with fellow beauty Kelly Huand WWF star, The Rock. Summer Altice served as tabloid fodder when she was alleged to have caused the split between Helen Huntand Hank Azariawhen Summer Altice frolicked poolside with the latter at a party. The rumor was soon squashed when it was revealed that Summer Altice was in fact dating Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. The relationship endured longer than most expected but alas, Summer Altice has since found a new beau in Hollywood hunk Vin Diesel.
