Ryan Rankine is a contemporary dance specialist from Brooklyn, NY. Ryan, 20, is a graduate of the LaGuardia High School in New York City (known as the Fame school). Ryan was born in Brooklyn, and began dancing when he was eight years old. He received training at La Guardia High School, the Dance Ttheatre of Harlem, the San Francisco Ballet, and with the Miami City Ballet. He was attending school in 2006 and was about to graduate when he was chosen as a contestant for season two of FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. He left school without graduating in order to be on the show.
