Rachel Shelley was born on 25th August 1969 in Swindon which belongs to the English county of Wiltshire. She was attending Sheffield University where she graduated with B.A. Hon. in English and Drama. Rachel’s career is mainly connected with theater, film and television. Some of her successful movies includes Photographing Fairies with Ben Kingsleyor Everybody Loves Sunshine with David Bowie For her performance in Laggan she also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Film. She has joined The L Word crew after the first season. She plays Helena Peabody, the daughter of Peggy Peabody, a multi-millionaire art collector. Although playing more or less negative character, she became very popular within The L Word audience.
