Listen to Obie Trice on BatangaBig was born in Detroit, Michigan in November 1978. At just eleven years old, e knew he wanted to spend his life rapping. On his eleventh birthday, his mother bought him a karaoke machine. He then began filling his time, writing lyrics and making beats. Trice attended Cooley High School in Detroit.
