Big was born in Detroit, Michigan in November 1978. At just eleven years old, e knew he wanted to spend his life rapping. On his eleventh birthday, his mother bought him a karaoke machine. He then began filling his time, writing lyrics and making beats. Trice attended Cooley High School in Detroit. On October 5, 1998 his daughter Kobie was born. Jut like his mentor, Eminem, Trice began rapping at the Detroit Hip-Hop School. He then took the stage name, Obie-Wan. D-12's Proof told him he should just go by his real name. Soon after, Trice met D-12's Bizarre. Bizarre saw talent in Trice. He arranged for the artist to meet Eminem. Eminem, who was impressed with Trice's work ethic, signed him to Shady Records. Trice is Shady Record's second artist. In 2001, Trice was featured on d-12's double-platinum debut album entitled Devil's Night. In 2002, he was featured on the soundtrack for the film 8 Mile. He performed in the songs, ?Love Me? and ?Adrenaline Rush.? Trice's debut album, which was produced by Dr. Dre and Timbalandwas entitled Cheers. Trice's influences are Big KaneDaddy, Kane Biz Markie, Rakim, and Redman.
