Nate Parker is an American actor who was nominated for a 2008 Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for playing the role of Henry Lowe in The Great Debaters (2007). For this film, he read the works of James Joyce, D.H. Lawrence, and W.B. Yeats -- books which he never picked up prior to the movie. For his role as orator Henry Lowe, Nate worked hard and even wrote a 100-page journal on his character. ... |
