A pair of horror tales hosted by and featuring Boris Karloff, originally produced for a television series entitled "The Veil." In the first story, a man searches for a missing woman without luck, but one name keeps appearing over and over again. When he meets the mysterious strange his story is unbelievable. In the second story, an ordinary man witnesses a murder from his kitchen window but when the police investigate, they find nothing, and it's up to the man to try to learn the truth.
