Lymari Nadal Biography

Lymari Nadal, born 11 February 1978, is a Puerto Rican actress. She came to Los Angeles in 2001, and at 22 years old finished her Masters degree in Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico, where she also took acting classes.

She signed for her first high-profile role as Eva in Ridley Scott's acclaimed period crime saga American Gangster (2007), opposite Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington. For that effort, Nadal and her co-stars netted a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. She has also starred in some other movies such as American Family (2002) as Linda, Battlestar Galactica Miniseries (2003) as Giana, and Ladrones y Mentirosos (2006) as Marisol.

She is married to actor Edward James Olmos.
