Kirk Acevedo is an American actor of Puerto Rican and Chinese descent. Notable is his portrayal of Miguel Alvarez in the HBO series Oz.

Acevedo's parents were both born in New York City, and lived in Brooklyn where both their sons, Richard and Kirk Acevedo, were born.
