Lea acerca de Kevin Dillon en Espa?ol

This younger brother of actor Matt Dillonearned critical praise for his frightening portrayal of Bunny, the young trigger-happy American soldier who goes berserk in a violent spree, in Oliver Stone's Oscar-winning "Platoon" (1986). Kevin Dillon also read some of the G.I. letters in HBO's highly esteemed documentary "Dear America: Letters from Vietnam" (1987). Although Bunny remains his most memorable role to date, the actor has worked steadily in feature films and television and has even occasionally taken a turn on stage (e.g., "Dark at the Top of the Stairs", "The Indian Wants the Bronx"). Dillon had intended to be a commercial artist until a meeting with an agent at a screening of one of Matt's movies led to his own screen debut in "No Big Deal" (1983). While his brother has a smudged beauty and plays off his sleekly cool persona, the younger Dillon has thrived on flintier roles like drummer John Densmore in Oliver Stone's misguided "The Doors" (1991), the only competent soldier in "A Midnight Clear" (1992) and one of the leads in "No Escape" (1994), a sci-fi adventure film in which he played an acolyte inmate of Ray Liotta in a futuristic penal colony. He has also played a series of cocky teenagers, usually with a monotone, in movies like "Heaven Help Us" (1985), "The Rescue" (1988) and "Immediate Family" (1989). Dillon made his TV-movie debut starring with Annabeth Gishin "When He's Not a Stranger" (CBS, 1989), about date rape, and followed that with the A&E miniseries, "Frankie's House" (1993), in which he portrayed Sean Flynn, the troubled son of actor Errol Flynn. As the 90s waned, Dillon found his profile on the big screen fade considerably (his only theatrically released project was 1999's "Hidden Agenda") while his small screen appearances increased. 1996, in particular, was a banner year for him on the small screen as he appeared in the HBO movie "Stag" with Andrew McCarthy and Mario Van Peebles the CBS miniseries "Gone in the Night" opposite Shannen Dohertyand played the title role of Showtime's "The Pathfinder", an adaptation of the James Fenimore Cooper novel. Subsequently, Dillon increasingly turned his attention to television, and had a recurring role on the Abcdrama "NYPD Blue" before landing the regular part of the brother of a thirtysomething woman who decides to return to college after dumping her fiance in the short-lived CBS series "That's Life" (2000). After a brief recurring role on the hit drama "24" in 2003, Dillon earned positive reviews for his sharply comic turn as Johnny "Drama" Chase, the hanging-on, not-quite-as-successful brother of hot Hollywood actor Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier in HBO's young Hollywood insider series "Entourage" (2004 - ).
