On People magazine's '50 Most Beautiful' list in 1999. During school, she studied dance, with groups including Mesa Stars Dance and Drill Team. Her break came when a talent scout in Denver discovered her, leading to acting jobs in commercials, movies and television. Those early years included a three-year stint on the New Mickey Mouse Club for Disney (1989-1992). She wore a sun pendant in almost every episode! Keri started in Felicity on the WB network (CTV in Canada), for which she won a Golden Globe Award in January, 1999. ...

Russell was born in Fountain Valley, California, on March 23, 1976. Most of her early childhood was spent living in Texas, before her parents decided to move to Mesa, Arizona. Russell took a serious interest in entertainment at an early age. At Poston Jr. High School, she discovered a passion for dancing, and soon applied for ballet and jazz dance lessons.
