Handsome Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd has played a number of dashing leading men in big budget TV costume dramas, most notably the lead part in ITV's Hornblower. Since 1998 and Hornblower: The Even Chance, Gruffudd has notched up a total of three seasons playing the role.
