Focus was born on March 10, 1973, in Litvinov of the Czech Republic. Her mother was a secretary and her father worked as an electrician in a mining company. Both parents stressed the importance of hard work, dedication and perseverance. Even after Focus landed her modeling contract, they encouraged her to have something to fall back on, just in case modeling did not work out for her.
