Daniel Edward Aykroyd, original cast member of Saturday Night Live, an originator of the Blues Brothers, is an Academy Award-nominated Canadian comedian, actor, screenwriter, and musician. After leaving Saturday Night Live, Aykroyd starred mostly in comedy films. When starting out in the film industry Aykroyd would star with Belushi in three films, The Blues Brothers, Neighbors and 1941.
