Brett Favre is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, and raised in the small town of Kiln. He is of French and Choctaw ancestry. He was the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers from 1992 to 2007.
