Anneliese was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, she immigrated to the United States in 1987 and retains dual Dutch/American citizenship. Her mother named her after the late Holocaust refugee Anne Frank. Her debut performance as soloist "Lana the Ladybug" in her third-grade fun musical established Anneliese's love for the stage.

Graduated of the Musical Theater Program at The Orange County High School of the Arts, California, where her talent was well respected among instructors and students. Highlights of her high school experience include winning the title of "Funniest Girl" as well as a one-day suspension incurred for a dress code violation. Anneliese has already made an impressive mark in the world of entertainment. For her captivating performance as Eva Peron in the Buena Park Civic Theater production of Evita (1999), she not only won rave reviews from the Los Angeles Times but also earned a place in history as the the youngest actress - at the age of 15 - to play the role in a professional production.

After her role as Evita, in 2002 Anneliese starred as Laurey in Austin Musical Theater's production of "Oklahoma!". Her performance in this celebrated show earned her B. Iden Payne and the Austin Critics Table award nominations for "Best Actress in a Musical". Anneliese is also an accomplished dancer, having danced the role of Clara in The Nutcracker and the title role of "Copelia" for the Southern California Dance Theater.

In 2004, she recorded "Over It" for the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs and is looking forward to more vocal projects. Anneliese is a constant student of dance and voice who takes weekly acting classes from Andrew Magarian at The Shop in North Hollywood. While continuing to take great pleasure in playing the sweetly goofy Chelsea Daniels, Anneliese looks forward to undertaking dramatic roles.

On television, she stars as Chelsea Daniels, Raven's best friend and sidekick who often draws her into humorous escapades in the Disney Channel original comedy series "That's So Raven" (2003).

Annaliese & the music
Van der Pol has a vocal range of three and a half octaves. She is a soprano and is trained in the belting vocal technique. Anneliese's first professional solo recording was "Over It"(2004) to the soundtrack for "Stuck in the Suburbs," a Disney Channel Original Movie. She has been associated with Disney music projects such as the song, "Circle of Life"(2003) for The Lion King: Special Edition DVD, and "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" (2005) for the Cinderella: Special Edition DVD. She has been in the studio recording her first vocal demo CD with veteran music producer/composer Bob Esty, who has produced, written and arranged numerous hit songs for  Cher and Barbra Streisand Anneliese was also working with award-winning songwriters Allan Rich and Jud Friedman. The current status of her demo CD is unknown. Her second solo recording is called, "A Day in the Sun"(2006) for the new That's So Raven soundtrack called, "That's So Raven Too!" Disney Records is releasing yet another Disneymania soundtrack, "Disneymania 4"(2006) which features a song recorded by Anneliese called, "Candle On The Water."
