Anjelica Huston was born in Santa Monica, California, the daughter of film director John Huston (1906-1987) and his fourth wife, prima ballerina Enrica Soma (1930-1969). She has Scots-Irish, Scottish, English, and Welsh ancestry on her father's side, and Italian on her mother's side. One of four siblings, she was raised mainly in Ireland and England.
